The GolfGifts.ie National Golf Society (NGS) membership is now open to men and women who want to network, meet new people and make friends while playing some great golf courses around Ireland.


Our golf society membership is ideal for any couples, friends, work colleagues that don't want to commit to paying expensive golf course joining, membership and competition fees while offering you the option to get valuable golf lessons at no extra charge.


With this Christmas offer you receive two golf society memberships. Bring anyone you like; a business partner or customer, a pal, a brother, a sister, Dad, Mom, husband wife or partner.


What you need to know:


  • Members may invite guests/visitors to any golf event
  • 5 golf outings including the grand final golf event
  • Golf course green fees cost approx. €50 - €75 per event
  • Society competition fees, 2's and golf prizes are included for Members only
  • No golf clubs - no problem discounted rates are available for Members
  • Members are entitled to play in as many events as they wish
  • Membership is open to people with or without official golf handicaps
  • Golf course venues control course availability, guidelines and safety protocols

Joining a golf society is a great way to dip your toes into the game of golf without paying for expensive golf club memberships. Golf is a very healthy sport to engage in, walking up to 10km in fresh air, along with the wonderful feeling of being outdoors while having fun chasing a little white ball over acres and acres of beautiful green fairways with some friends.

For an 18-hole round of golf, which can run from 4-5.5 hours, a walking golfer can burn anywhere from 1,200-3,000 calories.
